Cracker 02:50
CRACKER (Kiryk Drewinski) Polly wants a cracker. Anna wants a cracker. Tommy wants a cracker. Everybody wants but I’m gonna keep my cracker myself. Yes, baby, that’s how I really really am. Don’t ask me! Go and ask somebody else, cause I... ...I’m gonna keep my cracker. Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. Gary wants my bread. The bank wants my bread. I‘m hidin’ from the landlord. Everybody wants but I ain’t got no money myself. All I’ve got is a cracker for my health. Don’t ask me! Go and ask somebody else, cause I... ...I’m gonna keep my cracker Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. Keep my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna keep my cracker. The girl wants some patience. The man wants some patience. You want some patience. Everybody wants but I ain’t got no patience myself. Yes, baby that’s how it really really stands. Don’t ask me, go and ask somebody else, and now... ...I’m gonna eat my cracker. Eat my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna eat my cracker. Eat my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna eat my cracker. Eat my cracker, yeah! I’m gonna eat my cracker! chorus repeat

Lifetime 02:18
LIFETIME (Kiryk Drewinski) I like music most of all. I like to drink and I like to ball. I like to love ’cause I love you and I’ll never be sorry again for anything that I have done or that I’ll do in my lifetime, yeah! I like to chill, do nothing at all. I like to smoke and I like to ball. I like to love ’cause I love you and I’ll never be sorry again for anything that I have done or that I’ll do in my lifetime, yeah! ...in my lifetime! I like music most of all. I like to dance and I like to ball. I like to love, and now I love you and I’ll never be sorry again for anything that I have done or that I’ll do in my lifetime, yeah!

Camera 03:52
CAMERA (Kiryk Drewinski) I would like to have a camera right behind my eyes. Connected to my ears and thoughts it would give a good surprise. You could see my life just like a movie then and maybe understand what a kind of man I am. So come and see right through my eyes. The things that I love, the things I despise, right through my eyes. Different feelings in a different state from a different point of view. You could see your self, just like I do and how much I’m in love with you. You could see my life just like a movie then and maybe understand what a kind of man I am. So come and see right through my eyes. The things that I love, the things I despise, right through my eyes. (Now, come on, get it!) ...but you can‘t see right through my eyes. The things that I love, the things I despise, right through my eyes.

Mindgarage 04:11
MINDGARAGE (Kiryk Drewinski / Erik Haegert) Well, I stopped to listen to r‘n‘b since I‘ve taken that groovy new thing called lsd. Strangiest pictures, flowers, rainbows in a shrine. I saw them all as I blew my mind. Faces in my mirage. I‘m trippin‘ in my mind garage. My garage wall turned into a land. Out came the misty queen to hold my hand. Faces in my mirage. I‘m trippin‘ in my mind garage. AAAAaaaaaaaah... Faces in my mirage. I‘m trippin‘ in my mind garage.

CAN‘T REMEMBER (Kiryk Drewinski) A bottle of whiskey, a bottle of wine. That’s what makes the people look fine so I don’t care about the fool that I am ‘cause I know I won’t see them again and I won’t tell you about because I can’t remember them. A bottle of whiskey, a bottle of rye. That’s what gets me into a fight and I... I don’t care about the fool that I am ‘cause I know I won’t see them again and I won‘t tell you about because I can’t remember them. ...remember them now. ...Fight!! A bottle of whiskey, a bottle of gin. That’s what makes ma happy again and I... I don’t care about the fool that I am ‘cause I know I won’t see them again. And I won’t tell you about because I can’t remember them. remember them now. I can‘t remember them. remember them, remember them, now.

Old Tattoo 02:38
OLD TATTOO (Kiryk Drewinski / Erik Haegert) I left my home whan I was twelve and I was followed by nobody else. I used to listen to Uriah Heep. (AAAAAAaaaah!!) Then I was lost cause space is deep. I met a girl on lsd. She needed a man and that man was me. I had a liquid vision for so long but now I‘m clean and my mama is gone. My doors tattoo I now regret but garage music I will never let. uuAAAAhoouu!! I can even make a DVD run and I don‘t wanna be your dog. Garage heart and garage soul. I‘m a bongo beatin‘ beatnik and I don‘t dig rock‘n‘roll.

BETTER HURRY (Kiryk Drewinski) Dealer! Come around my house cause it’s your turn to come around. Better hurry, better hurry my way. You better move on cause I can’t go today, yeah! Money! Come around my house cause it’s your turn to come around. Better hurry, better hurry my way. You better move on cause I can’t go today, yeah! Hey, good love! Come around my house cause it’s your turn to come around. Better hurry, better hurry my way. You better move on cause I can’t go today, yeah!

about

Jon "Mojo" Mills on "The Magnificent Brotherhood" for Shindig! magazine:

What is The Magnificent Brotherhood?

The best new garage/psych band in the World. Incredibly talented musicians.
Fine songwriters...
And darn cool hipsters to boot.

(...) Their astounding debut album is a cohesive and very strong unit that unapologetically fits between purest stinging garage punk and complex late 60s fuzzy psych.
If in the market for proper, heart felt garage/psych that has nothing in common with today’s breed of same ol’ fucked up, doe-eyed punk blues duos and tried and tested ‘70s punk wannabes, The Magnificent Brotherhood are your salvation. (...)

After the opening few bars of “Cracker” you know you’re onto something good. The Magnificent Brotherhood offer one big “fuck off” to the past 10 year misinterpretation of garage-punk and psych. “Lifetime” could quite easily be from one of the best records of ’67, but it ain’t. it’s brand spanking new!
Yet this is music that appeals to teenagers and general music fans, as much as the elite, and they’re causing a mini-riot in their native Germany. With the right label, this is music that could reach the audiences of The Zutons, The Coral or The White Stripes. But sheeeeeiite, The Magnificent Brotherhood could eat those bands for breakfast! Quicksilver Messenger Service, Clear Light, HP Lovecraft and Love mix with token ’66 garage and The Magnificent Brotherhood are destined to be our music’s saviors. Astounding!
Every reader of this mag should not be without this album. What these guys can do with a Gibson SG, Vox organ and dual vocals is beyond belief!
